Training Received
Dr Krishna Prasad Kudlu was honored with the honorary FAICO certificate. This prestigious recognition highlights his valuable contributions and dedication. The award was presented at AIOC 2026. The event was held in Jaipur, bringing together distinguished professionals from across the field.
Dr. Krishna Prasad Kudlu has received and completed training in IOL & Microsurgery and is certified by the Lions Nab Eye Hospital in Sangli.
He completed a training course in Phacoemulsification Cataract Surgery with foldable IOL Implantation, conducted in Bangalore in the year 2005.
He participated in and learned from the Indian Contact Lens Education Programme held at the L. V. Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad. This programme was conducted in association with Bausch & Lomb India Ltd.
He completed his fellowship at the Academy of General Education in Manipal, Karnataka and was enrolled as a Fellow of the Academy in 2003.
He completed his Intraocular Collamer Lens (ICL) training in Shanghai, China in 2014. He was the first doctor to perform ICL in the coastal belt.
