At the ceremony held in Bengaluru, honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award in Community Ophthalmology and Social Services in recognition of 28 years of dedicated work in community eye care and social service. The award was presented by the renowned film star Sonali Bendre in the presence of distinguished guests.

It was Privilege to be a part Of The 37th North Zone Ophthalmological Society Conference & 21st Uttaraeyecon , conducted by the Uttarakhand State Ophthalmological Society, Held From October 10 To 12 2025, at Jim Corbett, Ramnagar. The conference was a perfect blend of academic excellence, insightful discussions, and inspiring interactions with distinguished colleagues from across the country. I am truly grateful to have been part of these enriching scientific sessions. It was a truly special and proud moment to receive the “Dr. Vinod Arora Oration Award 2025.” This recognition holds a special place in my professional journey, and I sincerely thank the organizing committee for presenting this prestigious honour upon me.
I am deeply honored to have been recognized by Dr. Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud and Shri Dinesh Gundu Rao, in the presence of Kalpana Das, Mrs. Shalini Rajneesh, and Dr. N.T. Srinivas, at the Gene Therapy & Precision Medicine Conference organized by Narayana Nethralaya. Dr. Chandrachud commended Dr. Rohit Shetty and his team for their pioneering work in making gene therapy affordable in India. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Rohit Shetty and Dr. Naren Shetty for their remarkable contributions.
