Awarded the esteemed ‘Nadoja Title’ 2021 by the Kannada University, Hampi — equivalent to the Honorary [Doctor of Literature] degree.

While being its Scientific Committee Chairman, he was unanimously elected as the Secretary of the Karnataka Ophthalmic Society (KOS).
