Though we were still in the middle of the pandemic, Nadoja Dr. Kudlu along with his team conducted eye camps in the Prime Minister’s birth state of Gujarat. He was blessed to have screened 2000+ Patients in a single day and performed 150+ surgeries in a span of two days.
His charity/community services continued despite the pandemic — with all precautionary measures. A mega-series of camps called ‘Vision For All’ was conducted under the leadership of Chief Minister of Goa, Mr. Pramod Sawant.
The first camp for Goa was conducted through the Netra Jyothi Charitable Trust (NJCT) in 2017. It was organised in collaboration with Mr. Shripad Naik, Union Minister of AYUSH and Chief Minister of Goa Mr. Manohar Parrikar.
Elected as the President of the Udupi District Cricket Association and serving as the same.

As Prasad Netralaya had transformed into a super specialty one stop eye care Center with different departments including a retina department in 2010, this department was upgraded with newer imaging technologies and laser machines in 2012. Introducing and serving people with the latest technology has always been one of Dr. Kudlu’s passions.

In line with Dr. Kudlu’s interest towards academic upgradation, Prasad Netralaya conducted a mega Refractive CME called Faco ref. Senior-most Ophthalmologist and Padmashree Awardee Dr. K K Mehta inaugurated the programm, in the presence of e Dr. H.S. Ballal, Pro Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (formerly known as Manipal University)
As service was his passion, he began conducting full fledged eye camps under the Netra Jyothi Charitable Trust (NJCT).
