Camps Conducted Under The Leadership of Dr. Kudlu
Free eye check-up and free spectacles distribution camp on Sunday, 18 January 2026, at the Community Hall, Muddoore. The camp included free eye examinations, free distribution of spectacles, and free cataract surgeries. More than 250 patients were screened. Received felicitation in recognition of excellence in social service.
A free eye check-up camp was organized on 11/01/26 at the Ambedkar Sabha Bhavan, Labour Colony, Kinnimulki, Udupi, under the joint patronage of Netrajyothi Charitable Trust, Prasad Netralaya Super Specialty. More than 100 patients were screened, out of which over 50 beneficiaries were prescribed spectacles, several patients were identified for cataract surgery, and others were referred to Prasad Netralaya for further evaluation and treatment.
Dr. Y. Bharath Shetty was present during the eye check camps that were conducted in Kodialbail, where 1000+ patients were screened and 600+ free spectacles were distributed.
Mr. Araga Gyanendra, Minister of Home Affairs, graced us with his presence during the Thirthahalli camp in September 2021; 1000+ patients were screened, and 100+ free spectacles were distributed.
A camp held at Chikmagalur in January 2021, in the presence of the BJP’s National General Secretary, C.T Ravi, screened 1500+ patients, provided 700+ spectacles, and performed 50+ eye surgeries.
Even during the pandemic, in the month of March, services were being extended to our neighbouring state, Kerala.
