Though we were still in the middle of the pandemic, Nadoja Dr. Kudlu along with his team conducted eye camps in the Prime Minister’s birth state of Gujarat. He was blessed to have screened 2000+ Patients in a single day and performed 150+ surgeries in a span of two days.
12 camps were held in 12 different locations, screening over 20,000 people; 12,000 spectacles were distributed for free, and 2,000 free eye procedures were performed. It has now been re-inaugurated, and services have resumed as of October 4th, 2021.
Aligning with one of his missions in the life of creating eye donation awareness, a mega eye donation awareness jatha was conducted for the first time in Udupi. This was inaugurated by MLA . K. Raghupathi Bhat.
