Under the leadership of C.M, Dr. Pramod Sawant and Union Minister, Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, a series of “Vision For All” camps were held in Goa between February and April 2021.
In January 2021, Prasad Nethralaya was the first private eye care institution in coastal Karnataka that launched a vaccination drive. Over 1000+ people were immunised.
Though we were still in the middle of the pandemic, Nadoja Dr. Kudlu along with his team conducted eye camps in the Prime Minister’s birth state of Gujarat. He was blessed to have screened 2000+ Patients in a single day and performed 150+ surgeries in a span of two days.
His charity/community services continued despite the pandemic — with all precautionary measures. A mega-series of camps called ‘Vision For All’ was conducted under the leadership of Chief Minister of Goa, Mr. Pramod Sawant.
The first camp for Goa was conducted through the Netra Jyothi Charitable Trust (NJCT) in 2017. It was organised in collaboration with Mr. Shripad Naik, Union Minister of AYUSH and Chief Minister of Goa Mr. Manohar Parrikar.
Elected as the President of the Udupi District Cricket Association and serving as the same.
Prasad Netralaya Mangalore received full-fledged accreditation by National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH)
As Prasad Netralaya had transformed into a super specialty one stop eye care Center with different departments including a retina department in 2010, this department was upgraded with newer imaging technologies and laser machines in 2012. Introducing and serving people with the latest technology has always been one of Dr. Kudlu’s passions.
